The spider cannon part of this was something I'd made a while ago, and was working on remastering with PBR textures. While doing so, I had the inspiration for a carrier that would carry on the insectoid/arachnoid theme. Went through several revisions before I came up with this version.
The rig for the carrier is still a work in progress, at the moment the test animation is relying on linked mesh hierarchies, rather than bones/control shapes. Unfortunately, I was experiencing some serious stability/crash/freezing issues and ended up putting it on hiatus to work on other projects.
Animation test, the carrier isn't rigged properly yet and is just using linked mesh hierarchies.
