A horrific abomination born of dark magicks, its grotesque form is constructed from imprints left by all the living beings that touched the stone at the core of its body.

Sculpted in Zbrush, retopo'd in 3dCoat, textured in Substance, Rigged/Animated in 3ds Max.

Closer view.  I've been finding that, personally, it seems to be more efficient to add fine detail using substance, rather than going crazy with the detail in the sculpt.

I hadn't actually intended for facial bones/animation, but after some experimentation quickly saw that it added a lot to the creepiness factor.  Wish I'd done the facial topology a little better to help support it more.
